Learn more on the HRCI Certification page of this web site or contact Mike Hudson and he will be happy to talk with you about certification. TVHRA sponsors two study groups per year. The group meets at Pellissippi State's Main Campus on Hardin Valley Road Alexander Building • Executive Seminar Room 206 from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. The cost of the study group is $100 for members and $125 for non-members • Study Kits cost $430.00

Are You Current?
Have you recently changed any of your information? Certification? Name Change? Employment Change? New E-mail? Keeping your member record current helps us communicate with you. Did you miss a meeting? In January, our speaker was Larry Johnson TGIM (THANK GOODNESS IT’S MONDAY): How to turn-on your employees so they won’t turn-over on you. Followed by our February meeting with Carol Biladeau and Mac Stevens - Financial Planning as a Benefit: Making Your Hard Work Worth It. The March meeting updated our members with recent changes that affect Defined Contribution Plans. This timely information was provided by Jones Kirkpatrick & Associates Financial Services.
John L Dyess, Regional Chair for the Committee for Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve provided us with the requirements and ramifications of the Uniformed Services Employment and Re-employment Rights Act (USSERRA) at our April meeting. May was our annual spring fling. In June we emphasized the SHRM Foundation. Our annual industry tour was hosted at ORNL in Oak Ridge.

DON'T MISS our meeting next month or you will miss great networking opportunities, good food, and excellent speakers.
