Our TVHRA Study Group helps HR professionals prepare for the certification test for PHR (Professional in Human Resources) or SPHR (Senior Professional in Human Resources).
Study groups meet at Pellissippi State's Main Campus on Hardin Valley Road; in the Alexander Building Executive Seminar Room 206 at 6:00 p.m. and last 12 weeks.
The next study group starts on February 9 , 2009 at Pellissippi State's Main Campus on Hardin Valley Road. Classes meet on the second floor of the Alexander Building Executive Seminar Room #206 at 6:00 p.m. The group meets for 12 weeks. If you are a TVHRA member your cost is $100. To qualify for the member price you must be a member in good standing at the time you register for the study group. Cost is $145 for non-members. Cost of the study kits are $480.00. TVHRA will purchase a five SHRM student kits for $480 which includes the practice test disk. When we sell those kits you can purchase the University study kit directly from HRCI by calling Customer Service at 1-800-444-5006 and select option #2. Your chapter affiliation is SHRM Tennessee Valley Chapter. This will allow you to receive the chapter discount.
The HRCI Exam is now computer based and is given at Prometic Testing Centers. The Spring test dates are May 1, 2009 – June 30, 2009 . The deadline for registering is March 13, 2009 and the late deadline is April 17, 2009.
